Zucchini Chips

  • Prep Time: 30 minutes 
  • Drying Temp: 125° to 135°F
  • Drying Time: 4 to 6 hours  
  • Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:

4 to 5 medium zucchini or summer squash or 3 medium salad cucumbers (11/4 to 11/2 pounds total)

1 teaspoon Lemon-Pepper Seasoning, dill salt, or celery salt

Procedure:

1. Wash the squash or cucumbers. Cut crosswise or on the diagonal into 1/8-inch-thick slices, discarding the ends.

2. Arrange the slices on the drying trays in a single layer without overlapping. Sprinkle evenly with the seasoning.

3. Dry at 125° to 135°F for 4 to 6 hours, until crisp.

 

Storage:

Up to 1 year at room temperature in an airtight container.
